Ochis named after the beautiful Ocho Rio’s region of Jamaica, who’s name literally translates from Spanish meaning eight rivers.The tributaries of which form the magnificent Dunn’s River Falls.A beauty spot long since sought after by lovers and affectionately know to the locals as Ochis. We hope to convey to you the romance of this picturesque paradise and the relaxing nature of these enchanting mystical falls.Ochis restaurant has been offering residents and visitors to Darlington the true taste of Caribbean and Mediterranean cuisine. The absorbing tastes of Ochis menu and the restaurants enchanting atmosphere are no secret to the people within the area who voted Ochis one of Darlington’s top 3 restaurants of 2003, and in the 2004 Herald & Post awards voted it the area's best restaurant.
Many nights the atmosphere is further enhanced by live music, be it a lively steel band or a subtle jazz musician. However the people of region visit Ochis not only to sample the delightful menu but to also enjoy the variety of in-house cocktails, imported soft drinks and carefully selected wines.
